Airborne LiDAR

Aircraft mounted LiDAR systems simultaneously collect dense 3D point cloud and high-resolution digital imagery.

TerrainMapper

Our LiDAR acquisition capability is second to none. Using the latest LiDAR instruments with a fully integrated photogrammetric digital survey camera. Our flight operations team are experienced in working across multiple environments, from coastlines to cities. Our dedicated customer management team have a strong focus on delivering your products to specification, on time, every time.

We use TerrainMapper, the latest in LiDAR sensor technology, which collects multiple returns per outgoing pulse, recording a dense 3D point cloud. This can be used for a variety of applications such as an analogue for vegetation health, improved estimation of vegetation cover, vegetation density and structure, and more.

Our experienced team of spatial analysts processes your surveyed point cloud into an accurate 3D data set. The can then create derived, customised products including digital elevation models (DEMs), digital terrain models (DTMs), canopy and foliage cover models, and 3D visualisations.

Customised solutions

We use LiDAR technology for a wide range of land management and planning efforts, including forestry, mining, agriculture, geologic mapping, hazard assessment (including landslides and floods), watershed and river surveys.

LiDAR can be used in any situation where the structure and shape of Earth's surface needs to be known. It can also measure some gases and particles in the atmosphere. Its versatility and high resolution lend it to applications in archaeology, climate monitoring, city planning, meteorology, mining, and much more.

In addition, LiDAR systems are used to create three-dimensional models of dynamic scenes such as vegetation near powerlines for clearance analysis.

Our LiDAR survey puts you in complete control and ensures the data you receive is perfectly suited to your needs.
